Jensen Taylor Connelly told Lanarkshire Live : "This is one of our favourite times of year in the lead up to Hallowe'en when the days are getting darker and we’re looking for some fun to mark the new season. Younger family members can also enjoy the Pumpkin Outdoor Festival which is a family fun experience featuring story-telling, games, the pumpkin train, as well as the chance to pick your own pumpkin, and drive-in movies including 'Hocus Pocus' and 'Goosebumps'. It is just one of the many experiences at M&D’s festival of seasonal outdoor attractions which also includes a series of chiller drive-in movies such as 'The Invisible Man', 'Cabin in the Woods', 'IT Follows', and 'The First Purge'.

There is also the opportunity to ride in the dark on some of the theme park’s favourite attractions including the 'Disko and Wave' swinger at the Motherwell-based theme park. Running on various dates and times from Friday, September 24 until Sunday, October 31, visitors to the attraction will step into an immersive apocalyptic world, becoming part of the story, where anarchy exists and the mission is to safely find your way through the maze, outrunning the many threatening characters and decaying zombies along the way! M&D’s annual 'Darktober' season kicks off this weekend with the launch of its famous Anarchy outdoor horror experience.
